Tailstocks

Ganro Industrial Corporation offers three types of tailstocks (manual, automatic, strong) for utilization with their standard DR and DC series of rotary tables and indexers. All Ganro tailstocks are compatible with the older Golden Sun models of rotary tables and indexers.

Manual Tailstocks

The most popular of the tailstocks is the TSM line of manual tailstocks.  The manual tailstock uses a Morse tapered center to enable the support of a long workpiece on a rotary table during the machining process. The center is easily moved forward and backward by rotating the handle on the rear of the tailstock.

Automatic Tailstocks

The automatic tailstock functions just as the manual tailstock but is pneumatically or hydraulically actuated.

Strong Tailstocks

The strong tailstock is for rotary table or indexer applications that involve large heavy workpieces or for use with a tombstone or fixture plate.  The strong tailstock uses a pneumatic or hydraulic brake system to insure the workpiece or fixture remains rigid during the machining process.
